The Regional Institute for Veterinary Emergencies and Referrals (VCA RIVER) is dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary care possible. We offer emergency care as well as referrals for various specialty services.

Specialty Appointments are available Monday-Thursday, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We are open nights, weekends, and holidays for emergencies.

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an AAHA-accredited referral practices we have been evaluated on our practice methods, standards of patient care, and the quality of the facility and medical equipment. In order to maintain accredited status, our hospital must be evaluated regularly by the association’s trained consultants. We are 1 of only 350 AAHA accredited referral practices in North America.
